Members Graduate from NADA Dealer Candidate Academy

The Metro Portland New Car Dealers Association proudly announces that Carlos Gonzales of Brattain International Trucks, Inc. graduated recently from the ATD Dealer Academy of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and Stephen Christian of Bryan Bickmore Dodge, Inc. completed training and received certification from the NADA Dealer Training Academy.

Gonzales an employee of Brattain International Trucks, Inc. - the largest international medium and heavy-duty truck dealership in the state of Oregon - works at its Portland location. He will use the skills he gained through study at the academy to undertake additional leadership and management responsibilities at the dealership.

Christian an employee with Bryan Bickmore Dodge, Inc. - a 38-year old family-owned dealership - works as the general manager at its Portland location. As a member of the Bickmore family, he will use the skills he gained through study at the academy to undertake additional leadership and management responsibilities at the dealership.

The NADA Dealer Candidate Academy is an intensive 12-month apprenticeship course designed to prepare dealer successors and key management personnel to effectively operate new vehicle dealerships. The specialized training curriculum features six weeks of classroom study combined with 45 weeks of in-dealership hands-on training.
