Metro Portland New Car Dealers Association Supports Ronald McDonald House with $15,000 Donation from 2004 Auto Show

The Metro Portland New Car Dealers Association in conjunction with the 2004 Portland International Auto Show has donated $15,000 to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon and Southwest Washington. Since 2000, the local Ronald McDonald House organization has been the signature charity for the Auto Show. With the 2004 donation, over the past five years, the Association - on behalf of the Auto Show - has contributed more than $70,000 to the local chapter to aid families of seriously ill children.

The Metro Portland New Car Dealers Association has served the local automobile community and industry since 1914. The association now represents more than 94 new car and truck dealers in the Portland metro area and is strong supporter of automotive education programs and charitable causes throughout Oregon.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon and SW Washington provides temporary lodging, comfort, and support for families of seriously ill and injured children who are being treated at nearby medical facilities, and supports related efforts to improve children's health.
